MONTREAL TRAVEL SHOW INVITES TRAVEL PROS

The 34th edition of the Montréal International Tourism and Travel Show (SITV) returns Nov. 1-3 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal and industry professionals are being offered free accreditation granting full access to three days of activities, exhibitors, and networking opportunities when presenting a business card.

With nearly 30,000 visitors, 350 destinations represented, 200 exhibitors, 300 conferences, and 900 travel agencies in attendance, the SITV has grown into the largest tourism show in North America and presents a major event for the travel and tourism industry.

“We expect a fantastic edition this year. We’ve expanded the show due to increased demand from exhibitors, which shows we’re back to pre-pandemic levels,” said Lucia Perez, Exhibition Consultant at Expo Media Inc.

The 2024 edition will feature more pavilions, showcasing destinations like Italy, Mexico, and Martinique. Visitors can also enjoy new culinary presentations highlighting Indonesia, the Philippines, Mexico, and El Salvador. Among the new exhibitors are countries like El Salvador and Peru, demonstrating growing interest in the Quebec market.

Pro Zone

Since 2019, a dedicated professional zone has been available on Friday, where travel agents can participate in dedicated training seminars.

“This is an opportunity to create synergies and strengthen ties within our industry,” says Jean Saad, co-director of Expo Media in Quebec. “We’ve always welcomed industry professionals.”

The Pro Zone will be open on Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. To register and consult the detailed program, visit the page HERE.
