Well-known Canadian travel industry veteran Meg Murgatroyd has joined solo traveller specialist Just You as head of trade sales for North America in a move the company says reinforces its commitment to supporting the travel trade in Canada.

The UK travel operator, which was acquired by Toronto-based G Adventures in 2017 offers vacations for independent globe trotters to over 60 destinations, without charging a single supplement. Just You offers a variety of vacation types including Touring, Walking, City Breaks, River Cruising and Festive Breaks.

Tom Morgan, Just You’s trade sales director, says, Murgatroyd brings a strong background in leading travel organizations through strategic initiatives and achieving sales targets, adding, “(She) is well respected by agents and brings a wealth of experience to her new position. We have ambitious plans for growth with our travel agent partners and appointing Meg is our first step in becoming the number one solo travel operator for agents in Canada.

He noted that India, Italy, Jordan, and Japan are some of the most popular destinations for Just You’s Canadian customers.
