Club Med is celebrating record-breaking growth in 2024 driven by its expanding mountain and luxury product offerings. Looking ahead, the resort chain is reinforcing its commitment to sustainable tourism with ambitious goals, including plans to operate all European resorts on low-carbon energy by the end of the year. From Cancun to Greece, and Punta Cana to the French Alos, here’s a sampling of what’s new in 2025
- Club Med Punta Cana: Club Med’s largest water park is now open at Club Med Punta Cana. The tropical jungle-inspired water park features over 25 features across three zones – Water Games, Bubble Pool, and Water Slides. A family-friendly food truck will soon be added.
- Club Med Cancún: A full resort transformation blends modern elegance with vibrant Mayan-inspired design. Now open, the Sports and Wellness island combines an active sports area with a tranquil relaxation zone. Guests can enjoy up to 20 hours of yoga per week, with serene yoga sessions under a palapa nestled in the trees with stunning lagoon views. The island also features facilities for archery, bocce ball, mini golf, multi-sport courts, and the famed Circus School by Club Med, offering activities such as trapeze and bungee. There is also re-imagined family oasis and kids club, new water park facilities, and the new Baby Club Med for little aged four to 23 months.
- Club Med Gregolimano: The Greek resort has re-opened following a $32 million renovation, which expanded its room capacity to 497 and introduced new eco-friendly upgrades. A Club Med destination since 1977, the resort is situated on the island of Evia – the second largest in Greece – and looks out on the Aegean Sea. The resort’s new accommodation wing reflects Greek aesthetics and a serene, sophisticated style, while a new wellness area features treatment cabins, a Zen pool, padel courts and yoga classes overlooking the sea.
- Club Med Serre Chevalier: Nestled in France’s Hautes-Alpes, the resort has received a full eco-friendly transformation that reflects the local Briançonnais architectural heritage. Designed to resemble an Alpine hamlet, the resort is the only ski destination near Briançon – France’s highest town, set at 1,326 m., and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include a refreshed Club Med Spa by Payot with eight new wellness cabins, a steam bath and yoga classes.
Club Med has also made substantial portfolio updates to reinforce its luxury positioning – major renovations were unveiled at Club Med Marrakech and Club Med Djerba La Douce, and new properties opened, including Club Med Joyview Heilongtan in China and Vittel Ermitage in France.
Looking ahead, the company has announced a new resort in the Gulf States, with further expansions and renovations planned across Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, and mountain destinations in France.
With bookings for the second half of 2024 up by 5.7% as of August, and first half of 2025 showing strong early demand, Club Med says it is positioned for sustained growth across its core markets in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
