26 JAN 2018: Operations agent Kyran Ashford said he hopes to give travellers "30 seconds of positive vibes" as he dances down the tarmac at Greater Rochester International Airport in New York. Ashford is the exuberant dancing sensation bringing light and life to the tarmac of the upstate airport, captured in a now-viral Facebook video by passenger country music artist Terry McBride and posted to social media. SELF PARKING SLIPPERS
26 JAN 2018: Combining the ultimate in traditional hospitality with Nissan's autonomous driving technology, one Japanese inn is treating guests to some unusual amenities: self-parking slippers, tables and floor cushions. At first glance, the ProPILOT Park Ryokan looks like any other traditional Japanese inn, or ryokan. Slippers are neatly lined up at the foyer, where guests remove their shoes. Tatami rooms are furnished with low tables and floor cushions for sitting.(VIDEO)   MORE

26 JAN 2018: Thick smog choked Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour, hiding what on other days is an impressive spectacle of sea, hills, and skyline. Every monitoring station in Hong Kong reported dangerously bad air. Winter often brings heavy air pollution to this specially governed metropolis of southern China, but particulate matter levels on January 22 hit eight times the acceptable maximum.
