HARD ROCK CASINO VANCOUVER GETS NEW NAME, FACELIFT

The Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is in for a rebranding. Effective December, the Coquitlam venue will become Great Canadian Casino Vancouver, according to owners, Great Canadian Entertainment. Along with the name change, the casino will welcome a Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant and offered enhanced entertainment options with Live Nation.

This news follows the successful transformation of the former Casino Woodbine into Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto and will position Great Canadian Casino Vancouver as one of GCE’s flagship properties.

A highlight of the metamorphosis will be the addition of Gordon Ramsay Burger this winter, curated by the Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay. The new culinary offering will provide a casual dining experience with Ramsay’s signature flair.

The Theatre at Great Canadian Casino Vancouver will be programmed in collaboration with Live Nation Canada and will showcase diverse range of entertainment acts.

Meanwhile, the refreshed casino will offer a diverse selection of games, from classic table games to the latest in cutting-edge slots in addition to a host of all-new high-limit private gaming rooms for high rollers.

“We believe that this transition represents not only a change in name but a significant opportunity to enhance the overall experience.” said Matthew Anfinson, CEO, Great Canadian Entertainment.

Great Canadian Entertainment owns and operates 25 destinations across Canada, featuring more than 18,000 slot machines, 600 live table games, top-rated restaurants, and live entertainment.
