Norwegian Cruise Line has cancelled almost six months of sailings between November 2025 and April 2026 on three of its ships – Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Star and Norwegian Jewel. The cruise line said the cancellations were due to ‘fleet redeployment’ according to a communication sent to booked guests and their travel advisors.
The letters said, “Occasionally, scheduled itineraries may need to be cancelled, allowing us the opportunity to introduce enhanced voyages that accommodate strong guest demand and provide a more immersive experience. While unfortunately cancellations may arise, please rest assured that we are always working hard to provide you with world-class cruise vacations to bucket-list destinations. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this cancellation may cause.”
The impacted sailings are:
Norwegian Dawn: Nov. 2, 2025, through April 12, 2026
Norwegian Star: Nov. 20, 2025, through April 14, 2026
Norwegian Jewel: Nov. 23, 2025, through April 5, 2026
NCL said it will provide a full refund of their paid fare and a future cruise credit worth 10%.
Norwegian cancelled more than a dozen cruises on seven ships scheduled for 2025 earlier this year.
