CLUB MED TAKES AIM AT ONTARIO: Names Jacinda Lowry as dedicated VP of Sales

As Club Med continues to expand in North America and worldwide, the all-inclusive resort chain has named Jacinda Lowry as Associate Vice President of Sales in Canada with an “ambitious” mandate of gaining market share in the English Canada, and particularly Ontario. Toronto-based Lowry moves into the post from her current position as meetings and events sales director Canada.

Having joined Club Med in 2010, Lowry starts the new role in September, with the company Vincent Giraud, Managing Director of Canada and VP of Sales Operations NAM stating, “We are confident that under her leadership, we will achieve significant milestones and capture substantial market share in English Canada.”

He adds, “Her deep understanding of market dynamics and proven track record in driving growth make her an invaluable asset to our organization.”

Strong in Quebec, Club Med admits that Ontario and English Canada “still has much to learn about Club Med’s upscale offer.”

Lowry says she is committed to forging strong relationships – especially with travel advisors – and that, “Together with our dedicated team, we will strive to exceed your expectations, innovate our solutions, and drive mutual success in this dynamic market.”

In a related move, Nathan Scarazzati will join Lowry’s team as Regional Sales Director for the Quebec market from Oct. 1. Scarazzati has been working for Club Med for six years, most recently as Data Business Intelligence Manager.
