September ushers in crisp temperatures and a kaleidoscope of autumnal colours across the Quebec. Visitors can take in spectacular scenery at local festivals where Québec’s warm hospitality and vibrant fall foliage are on full display. Here a few to consider.

  • Sommet Saint-Sauveur en couleurs (Laurentians, Sept. 13 to Oct. 26): On weekends throughout the fall season, Saint-Sauveur ramps up the family-friendly fun with carnival games, an alpine rollercoaster and tree-top trekking that puts leaf-seekers in the heart of fall foliage.
  • Festival of Colours at Vallée du Parc (Authentic Québec, Sept. 27 to Oct. 5): Vallée du Parc kicks off the fall season by inviting visitors to ride a chair-lift high above the colourful treetops, enjoy BBQ fare and listen to live DJs.
  • Festival des couleurs at Ski Saint-Bruno (Montérégie, Sept. 27 to Nov. 9): The annual festival of colours at this Montréal-area ski resort features nature hikes through an enchanted forest, inflatable games and family friendly programming, and stunning summit views.
  • La Grande Virée des couleurs au Mont-Sainte-Anne (Dates TBC): Mont-Sainte-Anne’s shows off its most spectacular colours. Visitors can take part in four weekends of activities for the whole family, including sporting activities, outdoor shows and more.
