It may seem counterintuitive, but BermudAir wants Canadians to think not only of Bermuda for their next winter holiday, but Turks and Caicos, and Anguilla too. That’s because the carrier is launching flights to the two Caribbean destinations from Toronto Pearson starting in December.
The route, which will operate to T&C starting Dec. 19 (and connecting onwards to Anguilla) gives BermudAir three luxury destinations directly from Toronto that fit the airline’s branding as Bermuda’s “leading premier carrier.”
“Both Turks and Caicos and Anguilla are jewels of the Caribbean,” says BermudAir CEO Adam Scott, citing the destinations’ pristine beaches, boutique resorts, world-class hospitality, and exclusive island atmosphere.
A Canadian himself, he adds, “We’re thrilled to continue expanding our network and growing our presence in Canada while offering travellers more convenient access to some of the region’s most exceptional destinations.”
The seasonal routes will operate on Saturdays through May 1, 2027, with flights departing YYZ at 2:45 p.m., landing in Turks and Caicos at 6:40 p.m., with connecting service to Anguilla departing at 8 p.m., landing at 10:55 p.m. Return flights leave Anguilla at 9 a.m., depart Turks and Caicos at 11 a.m., and land at Toronto at 3 p.m.
Scott notes that the airline continues to invest “more than ever” in its travel advisor partners, including offering ease of booking via Sabre and Amadeus under the 2T flight numbers.
“And our customers are ranking us with industry-leading satisfaction scores,” Scott adds, noting that the airline has earned a Net Promoter Score of 78.9 percent in May, one of the highest ratings in the airline industry.
All BermudAir flights are operated on Embraer E190 aircraft.
BermudAir launched flights from Toronto and Halifax to Hamilton, Bermuda in 2024 and now include Montreal as well.
Canadians arrivals to Bermuda from Canada were up 30% last year, with leisure air visitors increasing from 9,698 in 2024 to 12,641 in 2025. The island’s momentum in the market is expected to continue in 2026 as projected air capacity from Canada is set to increase by 16% from Toronto, 51% from Montréal, and 72% from Halifax.
Bermuda Tourism Authority director of sales Chris Keane recently told Travel Industry Today, “We’ve been blown away by the positive growth from Canada over the last year, and engaging local travel advisors, tour operators, and meeting planners continues to be a top priority. Bermuda is preparing for a landmark tourism year in 2026 with expanded air connectivity, new hotel developments, and significant infrastructure investments designed to accommodate increased leisure and business travellers.”
Carl Jones, Head of Aviation Business Development, Toronto Pearson, stated: “We’re excited to welcome Bermudair’s continued growth at Toronto Pearson with this new service to Anguilla, a previously unserved market from Toronto. With a stop in Turks and Caicos, the service provides passengers with easy connectivity to two beautiful Caribbean destinations.”
Tickets can be booked as of Friday.
