Sunwing Vacations Group has announced that Deana Murphy, Vice President, Trade Sales and Business Development, will retire effective October 16, 2026, following 24 years with Sunwing and a 40-year career in the Canadian travel industry.
Deana has been an integral part of Sunwing since its early days, joining the company in 2002 and playing an important role in building and strengthening the company’s relationships with the Canadian travel trade. Throughout her career, she has been a passionate advocate for travel advisors and has developed longstanding relationships with agency partners and industry colleagues across the country.
Under Deana’s leadership, Sunwing Vacations Group’s Sales Team has continued to evolve while maintaining a strong focus on supporting valued agency partners and helping travel advisors grow their businesses.

The process to fill Deana’s role will begin shortly, with the position expected to be posted in the coming days. Additional information will be shared once a successful candidate has been selected.
Deana will remain in her role until October 16 to support the team through the transition.
