Flair Airlines has brought former Air Canada exec Jamie Fox onboard as Director, Agency Sales and Partnerships, a newly created role designed to further the discount airline’s growth by engaging the travel trade.
“We see an enormous opportunity to continue growing Flair’s presence and visibility across Canada’s travel industry,” said Len Corrado, CEO Officer of Flair Airlines. “Jamie brings deep industry experience, strong relationships across the travel trade, and a proven track record of driving growth. His leadership will help strengthen Flair’s engagement across the industry as we continue expanding Flair’s presence across the Canadian travel landscape.”
In his new role, Fox will lead Flair’s agency sales and partnership strategy, focused on strengthening trade relationships, expanding distribution opportunities, and enhancing collaboration with travel partners across Canada and the U.S.
Fox brings more than 30 years of leadership experience, including most recently at Air Canada, working with travel advisors, TMCs, corporate partners, and key industry stakeholders, while helping grow market share across North America.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Flair Airlines alongside such a passionate and experienced leadership team at a transformational moment in the Flair FWD journey,” stated Fox. “This next chapter for Flair is about building meaningful, long-term relationships that create value for everyone: travel agencies, travel advisors, TMCs, tourism partners, and most importantly, our shared travellers.
“If you don’t know Flair yet, you should,” he added “And if we haven’t met yet, we look forward to changing that. We want to be in the market listening, collaborating, and building genuine partnerships across the industry.”
Fox’s appointment follows the introduction earlier in the month of (former Transat exec) Nicole Bursey as President of Flair Vacations.
