Angela Bokma and David Ardagh

FLIGHT CENTRE APPOINTMENTS SUPPORT GROWTH

Flight Centre Canada has strengthened its leadership team with two strategic appointments as the business continues a period of sustained growth. Angela Bokma joins the business as Director of Marketing, while David Ardagh steps into the role of Commercial Financial Manager, transitioning from his previous position as Senior Financial Analyst within Flight Centre Travel Group.

The new appointments come on the heels of Flight Centre’s 30th anniversary in Canada, where the brand unveiled plans to grow its presence over the next five years, including two new locations in 2026.

Bokma brings more than a decade of travel marketing experience, most recently as a marketing consultant and previously as Director of Marketing for The Travel Corporation. In her new role, she will oversee performance marketing for Flight Centre Canada, with a focus on strengthening brand positioning and driving customer acquisition and retention.

Ardagh builds on his experience as a Senior Financial Analyst at Flight Centre Travel Group, where he contributed to business planning and financial decision-making. As Commercial Financial Manager, he will oversee financial performance for the Flight Centre brand in Canada.

The leadership changes also come as Flight Centre Canada expands its toolkit for travel experts, including the rollout of Co-Consult, an AI-powered research platform designed to help build more tailored itineraries for travellers. In addition, the company is focused on training, industry partnerships and career development to bolster its travel experts and attract new talent.

“We’re seeing steady momentum as we continue to rebuild and expand our presence,” said Anita Emilio, Executive VP and GM of Flight Centre Canada. “We’re also investing in our people, and the tools that support our travel experts, including new technology and enhanced in-store experiences. Strong leadership is key to delivering consistent value to our customers, our teams and our business.”

“Flight Centre Canada has a clear opportunity ahead,” said Ardagh. “After countless changes to the travel industry as a whole, our focus is on having the right structure and insights in place to deliver financial performance.”

“A strong foundation of human expertise, combined with Flight Centre’s global heritage, is what drew me to the role,” says Bokma. “There’s a real chance to build on that foundation. We’re in the business of connection, and Canadians continue to value knowledgeable travel experts who are there for them at every stage of their journey. My focus is on making sure that value is communicated clearly and consistently as we continue to grow.”
