Flair Airlines has named Len Corrado as Chief Executive Officer. Effective Feb. 9, the former president of Sunwing Airlines replaces Maciej Wilk as part of planned transition at the company.
Wilk led a multi-year effort to “sharpen operational discipline, improve reliability, and evolve the airline’s business model to better reflect the realities of the Canadian market,” says the company.
“My mandate was always clear: bring discipline, reliability, and cost efficiency into the business, and be rigorously honest about what works and what doesn’t,” said Wilk. “Together, we built a more reliable airline, strengthened operational and financial performance, repositioned the business for long-term sustainability and created a solid foundation ready for the next phase of growth.
“This transition has been thoughtfully planned, and I’m proud to pass the CEO baton to Len Corrado, a highly respected industry leader with extensive Canadian aviation experience and perspective. I leave with full confidence in the team, the strategy, and what comes next.”
Under Wilk’s leadership, Flair delivered sustained tangible improvements in on-time performance and operational execution, becoming Canada’s most reliable and on-time airline in 2025 while continuing to expand its customer value proposition under the Flair FWD strategy.
Corrado brings deep roots in Canadian aviation with decades of experience across Canadian airline operations, commercial strategy, and leisure travel, most recently as President of Sunwing Airlines. His background aligns closely with Flair’s next phase, including the expansion of Flair Vacations, as the airline builds on its value-carrier model.
“Flair has made meaningful progress over the past several years, and the momentum is clear,” said Len Corrado, Flair Airlines’ CEO. “I’m excited to join an airline on the rise, to work alongside the team, and to build on the strong foundation already in place. I look forward to working with my team to drive the next stage of growth together.”
The leadership transition follows a deliberate search process and reflects confidence in business continuity, strategy, and execution. Flair’s operations and strategic priorities continue without interruption as the airline moves forward with a clear focus on affordability, reliability, and delivering value for travellers.
“On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Maciej for the focus and discipline he brought to building a strong foundation for Flair’s future,” said Jim Young, Flair’s Board Chair. “Len’s leadership experience and deep industry relationships position him well to guide the airline through its next phase, including the growth of Flair Vacations, expanded access through GDS, and the continued evolution of our value-carrier strategy.”
