Tauck has introduced its newest brand, Roam by Tauck. Designed for travellers in their 40s and 50s, the premium, flexible small group division of the still evolving 100-year-old tour operator will feature five itineraries in its first year, expanding to a dozen in 2027.
Averaging just 16 guests, the brand’s distinctive “half-on, half-off” philosophy balances curated group experiences with flexibility and free time. Designed for travellers seeking more independence, Roam by Tauck builds in unguided moments away from the group and more active experiences for those who want to feel challenged.
“We designed these journeys for travellers who lead dynamic, fast-paced lives and want a guided experience that still feels personal, less structured, and yet entirely effortless,” says Tauck CEO Jennifer Tombaugh. Roam by Tauck delivers that balance, offering premium experiences and the freedom to explore, with Tauck’s built-in expertise.”
She adds, “We’ve heard tremendous enthusiasm from travel advisors who recognize this fills a meaningful gap in the luxury travel market.”
Every Roam by Tauck journey features one-of-a-kind stays with premium amenities and on-site activities and VIP access to experiences typically not available to most independent travellers, supported by Tauck’s global network of longstanding partners.
The journeys also include Signature Moments, which serve as highlights throughout each itinerary.
