RETAIL ROUND-UP: Agent news, fams & incentives

This week: Türkiye was a treasure with Collette for a group of Canadian agents; Onvigo advisors celebrated their independence, and Flight Centre Travel Group unveiled a “transformative” new corporate tool.

Collette

A group of travel advisors were recently hosted on a FAM tour to Türkiye by Collette. Participants experienced the tour operator’s 9-day ‘Treasures of Türkiye tour firsthand, including a visit to the ruins of ancient Ephesus. Other highlights included witnessing a Whirling Dervishes ceremony and having a home-cooked ‘burek’ with a local family.

As North America’s longest-running tour operator, Collette constantly strives to better serve their advisors and equip them with the tools they need to promote Collette confidently including the updated Travel Advisor Resource Guide and new modules found at Collette University.

Collette says it believes the best way to truly understand and sell a tour is to experience it yourself, and agents are invited to take advantage of the company’s Travel Advisor Reward Program to receive 50% off tours when they travel with Collette.

Onvigo

On Dec. 3, Onvigo hosted its second annual Advisor Gala, uniting Independent Travel Advisors for an evening of celebration and connection. This year’s theme, TWO-GETHER, highlighted the power of community and the progress advisors have driven throughout 2025.

The event featured the 2025 Advisor Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements in categories such as Top Cruise Advisor, Marketing Superstar, and Community Superstar.

Looking ahead, Onvigo is focused on expanding its Partnership Program in 2026, bringing advisors stronger supplier relationships, education, and tools to grow confidently.

“A goal without a plan is just a wish, and our community deserves more than wishes. Advisors who step into 2026 with clarity and a solid strategy will create the momentum that moves the whole network forward. Community creates confidence, and confidence fuels results,” stated Onvigo, Director of Host Agency Operations, Shean Carmichael.

Flight Centre Travel Group

Corporate travel, the specialist SME division of Flight Centre Travel Group has launched ‘Trip Proposals’ in Melon, a new feature designed to transform how corporate travel arrangers manage trip options for business travellers by streamlining the process for travel arrangers, such as executive assistants and office managers, to build and share comprehensive travel plans.

Arrangers can easily select preferred flights and accommodations, creating a detailed travel plan that is directly emailed to the traveller. This personalized summary includes visual elements and all key details, allowing travellers to view options without logging in. Once confirmation is provided, arrangers can then book directly from the saved plan with ease.

“The innovative feature reduces time spent on planning and minimizes duplication with its direct planning-to-confirmation booking processes,” says Tom Walley, Global Managing Director, Corporate Traveller. “It also delivers a polished and professional view of travel options to travellers, ensuring all necessary details are shown in a single, accessible communication format, enhancing convenience and clarity.”
