The Los Cabos Tourism Board’s new brand campaign, “Where the Land Ends, Your Story Begins.”elevates the popular Canadian getaway as a holistic luxury and wellness destination, while inviting travellers to create personal connections and unforgettable memories in the destination.
Aimed at Canadians – the destination’s second largest international market – the campaign’s central theme is rooted in Los Cabos’ unique geography – the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, where the desert, mountains and ocean meet, conspiring to create the iconic rock formation, The Arch.
“The new campaign is an invitation to experience Los Cabos on a deeply personal level,” says Rodrigo Esponda, Managing Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board. “We want to show first-time visitors from Canada that Los Cabos is more than just a beautiful getaway, it’s a place that leaves a lasting mark. Here, dramatic landscapes and elevated experiences come together to spark meaningful moments that travellers carry with them long after they leave.”
The new campaign is supported by a suite of updated assets, including a refreshed website, social media content, branding, and a collection of captivating photos and videos – visual assets showcase the area’s expansive resorts, unique cuisine pristine beaches, championship golf courses, historic towns, and activities such as sailing alongside migrating whales and unwinding in serene spa sanctuaries.
New openings in Los Cabos
This fall, Los Cabos adds fresh dimension to its luxury landscape with a slate of notable debuts and renewals. From world class resorts to lifestyle hubs and boutique stays, each new arrival builds on the destination’s reputation for sophistication, culture, and effortless Baja style.
- Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal completes the final phase of its multi-year transformation this fall. All 112 guest rooms, suites, casitas, and villas have been refreshed with a soft, coastal-inspired palette, complemented by handcrafted furnishings from artisans in Oaxaca, Baja California Sur, and Jalisco.
- Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol, opening this month, marks the brand’s debut in Mexico. The resort will feature 160 elegantly designed rooms, three private pool villas, multiple dining venues, a full-service spa and wellness centre, a collection of pools, and an exclusive beach club blending Park Hyatt’s signature refinement with Baja’s relaxed sophistication.
- Ánima Village, launched Oct. 1, will serve as a luxury lifestyle destination located in the heart of Cabo del Sol. Bringing together more than 80 curated retail brands, gourmet dining concepts, artisanal cafés, and wellness studios, Ánima Village is designed to celebrate nature, gastronomy, art, and community, inviting visitors to linger, connect, and embrace the Los Cabos way of life.
- Kadún, a new 110-room boutique hotel in Cabo San Lucas, opens this fall just steps from El Médano Beach and the Marina. Named after the cardón cactus, a symbol of Baja’s resilience, Kadún blends contemporary Mexican “Casona” design with cultural and culinary touches. Guests can enjoy a rooftop pool and lounge, signature restaurant, casual café and deli, full-service spa, event spaces, and family-friendly comforts including kitchenettes and tailored programming.
