INTREPID NAMES NEW HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS IN CANADA

Intrepid Travel has promoted Caroline Tinsley to the newly created role of Head of Partnerships, Canada, marking a key strategic investment in the company’s growth across the Canadian market.

In her new role, Tinsley will lead Intrepid’s partnership strategy in Canada, with a focus on accelerating industry collaborations, expanding brand alliances, and forging strategic partnerships that deliver long-term impact and visibility for Intrepid. She will report directly into the regional leadership team and oversee a growing team of Key Partnership Managers as part of an expanded Canadian structure.

“Caroline’s vision, energy, and drive will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter of Intrepid’s partnerships in Canada,” said Christian Wolters, President of Canada at Intrepid Travel of the appointment. “We are thrilled to have her leading this key area as we grow our presence and deepen our impact across the Canadian market.”

Tinsley previously served as Global DMC Partnerships Manager, where she was instrumental in building global supplier relationships and developing scalable, purpose-led travel products.

Intrepid notes that it is actively investing in regional talent with a sharpened focus on local partnerships.

This comes as Canadian bookings are up 32% year-over-year, leading the North American region, according to the tour company.

At the same time, Intrepid says domestic travel is booming, with Canadian bookings to Canadian destinations up 97% YoY, including East Coast Canada bookings up 118% YoY, with new fall departures added to meet demand.

Tinsley officially stepped into the role on Sept. 22, with a phased handover of her global responsibilities already underway.

“Partnerships are at the heart of everything we do,” said Tinsley. “I’m excited to help shape Intrepid’s future in Canada by building relationships that fuel sustainable growth and inspire more Canadians to travel with purpose.”
