TICO NAMES NEW MEMBERS TO CONSUMER ADVISORY COUNCIL

Launched in early 2024, the Consumer Advisory Council (CAC) and Industry Advisory Council (IAC) play a crucial role in advising the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) Board of Directors and management on matters related to consumer protection, challenges and opportunities affecting Ontario’s travel industry and overall emerging trends.

Following a comprehensive recruitment and selection process, TICO has announced the following new members of its councils.

CAC

Newly appointed members:

  • Kevin Hooper – Toronto Police Service
  • Tania Kedikian – Development Counsellors International, Travel Media Association of Canada
  • Sasha-Aliya Khan – Onvigo Inc.
  • Hamza Majid – Bereavement Authority of Ontario

Returning members:

  • Angela Dennis – Better Business Bureau Serving Central Ontario Inc. – CAC Chair
  • Ron Noble – Catholic Health Association of Ontario – CAC Vice-Chair
  • Aly Alibhai – Retired
