MARGARITAVILLE AT SEA BOOSTS TRAVEL TRADE FOCUS

Margaritaville at Sea says it is implementing a series of “impactful initiatives” designed to strengthen its commitment to the trade, including a full-scale push to reward, engage and empower travel advisors through an expanded Travel Trade team, improved sales tools, and exclusive perks, including FAMs and advisor rates.

Launched in May 2022 with the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise sailing from the Port of Palm Beach, the cruise line expanded in June 2024 with the addition of the Margaritaville at Sea Islander, which sails from Port Tampa Bay to Mexico and Western Caribbean

“Travel advisors are our backbone, and we’ve been laser-focused on helping them know our people, our story, and the unique appeal of Margaritaville at Sea,” said Ron Gulaskey, SVP of Sales & Trade Relations at Margaritaville at Sea. “From improving policies to launching new programs and showing up where it counts, we’re doing the work to help advisors sell one of the most buzzed-about new cruise lines.”

To be launched this summer, Margaritaville at Sea will introduce several enhancements aimed at empowering the trade and setting the brand apart:

  • Enhanced Advisor Booking Platform: Significant upgrades to the B2B portal will deliver greater flexibility and control over reservations, streamlining the booking process from start to sail.
  • Launch of “Changes in Latitude Leadership Cruise” Series: This new sailing series offers advisors a chance to engage directly with company leaders, gain exclusive insights, and share feedback in a relaxed, inspiring onboard setting.
  • New Booking Incentives: High-performing advisors will now enjoy elevated rewards, including complimentary 7-night cruises, as part of a new incentive program designed to celebrate top sellers.
  • Expanded FAM Trip Program: Carefully curated sailings will provide selected advisors with immersive, firsthand brand experiences to deepen product knowledge and drive long-term sales success.

In tandem, Margaritaville at Sea has also completed key components of its new TradeWins program, focused on building stronger, more profitable partnerships with advisors:

  • Industry-Leading Group Policies: Advisors now benefit from a lower group minimum – just five staterooms to qualify – plus upgraded Tour Conductor credits (1-for-12) and two built-in perks with every group.
  • Dedicated Group & Charter Expertise: The appointment of Kawanna Bee as Complex Group & Charter Operations Manager brings deep industry experience and expert support for full-ship charters and large bookings.
  • Growth in Strategic Accounts: With more than 300 new accounts added in recent months, the sales team is focused on expanding visibility among top-producing Caribbean sellers.
  • 2025 Advisor Rate Sailings: Over 25 new sailings have been added exclusively for advisors in 2025, offering more opportunities to sail, experience the product, and sell with confidence.
  • Ongoing Monthly Trade Webinars: Advisors can stay connected and informed with monthly webinars led by ship officers and brand leadership, offering timely updates and effective sales strategies.
