This week: Virtuoso is headed for Lake Louise; the Croatia National Tourist Board launched a specialist program; and incentives for Quark Expeditions and Serenity resort in Saint Lucia.
Virtuoso
Virtuoso will host its inaugural Impact Summit, from June 2-5 at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Lake Louise, Atla, bringing together the network’s most engaged members and partners devoted to responsible tourism.
“Virtuoso’s commitment to sustainability is based on two fundamental philosophies: start where you are and no shame, no blame,” says Jessica Hall Upchurch, Virtuoso’s Vice-Chair and Sustainability Strategist. “We started with a passion and the realization that we have a unique position at the intersection of travel advisors, partners and travellers. Keeping each of these groups in focus, we’ve continued to grow and evolve our role within the sustainability space.
“Virtuoso Impact Summit (will) focus on luxury travel’s positive effect on sustainable tourism and to address challenges that we know are opportunities when we work together.”
Croatia
The Croatian National Tourist Board has launched the ‘Croatia Full of Life Certificate,’ a new initiative designed to equip travel advisors with in-depth knowledge of Croatia’s diverse tourism offerings.
“We are thrilled to introduce this certification as a way to support travel advisors in promoting Croatia as a year-round destination,” said Leila Krešić-Jurić, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in North America. “By deepening their knowledge, advisors can inspire travellers with authentic, customized itineraries that showcase Croatia’s unique charm beyond its well-known highlights.”
Through a series of five themed webinars, participants will gain exclusive insights into Croatia’s key attractions, emerging destinations, luxury accommodations, sustainable tourism efforts, and off-the-beaten-path experiences. The program will culminate in an online quiz, after which successful participants will receive an official specialist certificate.
Upcoming webinar themes include:
- Introduction to the “Croatia Full of Life Specialist” Certificate
- Zagreb & Central Croatia – Discovering Culture & Arts
- Istria & Kvarner – Food & Wine travel – Golf Traveller
- Zadar & Lika ~ Enjoy Outdoors & Nature – Multi-Generational Travel
- Central Dalmatia & Dubrovnik – Island Hopping & Sailing – Weddings, including the luxurious island of Hvar

Quark Expeditions
Quark Expeditions’ Arctic Sweepstakes offers six lucky travel advisors the chance to experience the wonders of the Arctic aboard the ‘Svalbard Explorer: Best of High Arctic Norway’ expedition, taking place May 29 – June 8, 2026.
By booking Arctic voyages for their clients, advisors will earn entries into the contest. Putting them in the running for the trip to one of Earth’s most wildlife-rich regions.
To participate, travel advisors must first register by completing a simple sweepstakes registration form, after which every eligible Arctic booking earns them entries:
- Each Arctic 2026 booking earns 1 entry
- Each Arctic 2025 booking earns 3 entries
Entries are counted per passenger, not per cabin, so a single booking with two guests equals two entries. Bookings made between April 7 and June 30, 2025, qualify; group bookings are also eligible. Six winners will each receive a free cabin aboard the Svalbard Explorer and can bring a guest along.
The more Arctic voyages advisors booked, the more chances there are to win. The registration form can be found HERE.
