Caribbean low-cost carrier Arajet – a new entrant in the Canadian market – will add connections to Argentina from Toronto and Montreal, enhancing a roster of recently announced service from Canada to Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santiago de Chile; Cartagena and Medellin, Colombia; as well as several Caribbean islands, such as Jamaica, Aruba or Curaçao.
Flights connect through the carrier’s Santo Domingo hub in the Dominican Republic, through which Arajet offers direct flights to 22 destinations in 15 countries.
The first flight from Toronto to Santo Domingo will be Oct. 24 and the first from Montreal will be Nov. 7.
“Arajet (promises) to connect the Americas with the greatest efficiency possible, which is why we offer the opportunity to our Canadian friends to travel safely, on new planes, with the best service on board and at best market price” says Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO, and founder of Arajet.
Arajet is the first low-fare airline in the Caribbean region, having launched in September 2022 from its base at Las Americas Airport in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with a new fleet of Boeing 737MAX-8 aircraft.
