As part of the second phase of the codeshare agreement between Air Transat and Porter Airlines, the carriers have added more connections, enabling travellers to take advantage of additional routes linking Canada to destinations in the South, the US and Europe.
The partnership, initially launched last October, allows Porter Airlines’ domestic flights to be combined with Air Transat’s flights via a connection at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and now Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ).
Travellers departing from Toronto Billy Bishop, Toronto Pearson, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Halifax will be able to combine a domestic Porter Airlines flight with an Air Transat flight to Europe, the South, the United States or Canada.
The codeshare agreement expands the range of routes and destinations available, including the possibility of combining flights from both carriers on a single ticket. Passengers are also protected in the event of a flight delay or cancellation.
These codeshare flights are currently available for bookings made via most distribution channels starting June 1.
