16 AUG 2019: Earlier this year the Rock and Hall of Fame in Cleveland inducted its class of 2019. For all the worthy recipients, the most notable was certainly Stevie Nicks, who became the first woman to enter the hall twice – this time as a solo act (she was first inducted with her band, Fleetwood Mac, in 1998). So, put your hands together for Ms. Nicks, who channels her inner Welsh witch here in “Rhiannon” from the classic 1997 Mac live performance/album The Dance.

Lyrics

Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night and
Wouldn't you love to love her?
Takes to the sky like a bird in flight and
Who will be her lover?
All your life you've never seen
A woman taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised you heaven?
Will you ever win?
She is like a cat in the dark and then
She is the darkness
She rules her life like a fine skylark and when
The sky is starless
All your life you've never seen
A woman taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised you heaven?
Will you ever win?
Will you ever win?
Rhiannon

She rings like a bell through the night and
Wouldn't you love to love her?
She rules her life like a bird in flight and
Who will be her lover?
All your life you've never seen
A woman taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised you heaven?
Will you ever win?
Will you ever win?
