07 AUG 2019: The Jamaica Summer Games and Wellness Festival will bring a taste of Jamaica to Ashbridges Bay Beach August 17-18. This family-friendly weekend is a unique blend of music, sport, culture, health and wellness and distinctly Jamaican entertainment.

During this action-packed weekend, eventgoers can participate in a wide range of health and wellness activities, including yoga on the beach with Power Yoga Canada, a wellness talk series, and beach sports including beach volleyball, beach tennis, beach soccer, beach frisbee, pickleball, tennis and squash. All sports competition registrants will be placed in a draw for a chance to win a trip to Jamaica, courtesy of Jamaica Tourist Board, WestJet and Palladium Hotels.

Attendees can also enjoy the flavours of Jamaica at the Caribbean market, and the sounds of the island at the Beach Party, where local DJ Spex Da Boss will spin Reggae and Dancehall at our Saturday Beach Party from 6:00-10:00pm.

The Jamaica Summer Games boasts well-known celebrity ambassadors, including:
