This year, SeaWorld Parks will open 11 new attractions across the United States -one of the company’s biggest years ever.

Now Open! Sesame Street at SeaWorld Orlando – opened March 28

SeaWorld Orlando is bringing the world famous street to park guests, connecting families with all the fun, laughter and learning of Sesame. Sesame Street at SeaWorld Orlando features the iconic Sesame Street neighborhood including Abby Cadabby’s garden, Big Bird’s nest, Mr. Hooper’s store and the famous 123 stoop and all the Sesame Street characters.

Exciting rides and interactive experiences including opportunities to mingle with characters are a part of this fully immersive land. A daily Sesame Street parade is SeaWorld Orlando’s first-ever parade.

Six colorful, themed rides complete this amazing new land including Elmo’s ChooChoo Train where guests help Elmo find some of his favorite things in nature during a bell-ringing, horn honking train ride; Cookie Drop, a family-friendly vertical drop ride; Big Bird’s Twirl N’ Whirl, a family favorite tea cup ride; Abbey’s Flower Tower, taking guests high above Sesame Street and Slimey’s Slider, a slide and glide ride through Oscar’s treasured compost collection. Super Grover’s Box Car Derby is a family-friendly coaster full of fun hills, big turns and mini-dives – the perfect first steel roller coaster for kids and adults.

SeaWorld’s partnership with the Sesame brand and Sesame Workshop spans 40 years, and includes SeaWorld being the exclusive theme park partner for Sesame Workshop in the United States. The beloved family brand is celebrating 50 years in 2019 and SeaWorld Orlando’s biggest Sesame expansion inside the park is an exciting part of that celebration.

Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay officially opened Tigris, a triple-launch steel roller coaster on Friday, April 19, 2019. The new attraction is Florida’s tallest launch coaster and the ninth coaster in the park’s collection, solidifying Busch Gardens Tampa Bay as Florida’s thrill ride leader. Tigris catapults riders through an exhilarating array of looping twists with forward and backward motion, breath-taking drops, a 150-foot skyward surge, and an inverted heart line roll, reaching a top speed of more than 60 miles per hour.
