27 AUG 2018: The team from Vox International, including Travel Industry Today, may not have earned any golf accolades at the Skal Toronto’s golf tournament last week, but participation in the 63rd annual gala was reward enough.

With over 100 participants “competing” and more on hand for an evening reception and dinner, the large travel trade gathering revelled in the one of the final days of summer and doing a little “business among friends” as the Skal motto goes.

Moreover, the event, organized by Kimberly Hartley (Myrtle Beach) and held at the Lionhead Golf & Country Club in Brampton, Ont., helped raise funds for charity of choice, the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank, through prize raffles and 50/50 tickets, as well as live and silent auctions.

There were some individual and team winners of course, but in reality, everyone was a winner on this day.
