Caribbean Airlines is pleased to announce the appointment of
Ian Brunton as the new CEO of the company. He takes over from Philip
Saunders, who, some six months ago, gave notice of his intention to resign his
position to return to the UK. Captain Brunton started his
aviation career some forty-seven years ago in the British Royal Air Force. He has also been the Executive
Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Caribbean Airlines since the
airline's inception in January 2007. Brunton previously was a former Board
Director of BWIA and a former Chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Airline
Pilots’ Association.
