09 MAR 2010:  Kerry Sharpe has been appointed to the position of director, corporate communications, at Thomas Cook.  Sharpe has been with the company for the past five years as communications specialist and has played a key role in keeping the Thomas Cook brands top-of-mind within the industry.

Sharpe’s new responsibilities will have her overseeing all internal and external communications and PR according to the announcement by Dean Moore, chief operating officer for Thomas Cook North America.

Before coming to Thomas Cook (then MyTravel), Sharpe worked as a staff writer for Travelweek magazine.
