13 OCT 2017: Norwegian Escape’s Godfather and international music star, Pitbull, made a special appearance at PHD Rooftop Lounge at Dream Downtown in New York this week. The Grammy-Award winning Latin superstar along with Norwegian Cruise Line president and CEO Andy Stuart celebrated Norwegian Escape coming to homeport in the city in Spring 2018.

Norwegian Escape will sail seven-day cruises to Bermuda during the summer months and seven-day cruises to Canada and New England and the Bahamas and Florida as well as a selection of longer cruises to the Western and Southern Caribbean during the fall/winter 2018/2019 season.

Norwegian Escape will be the brand’s largest ship to ever homeport from New York City at 164,600 gross tons and 4,266 guests. Norwegian Cruise Line has been homeporting year-round from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal since 2003.


Princess Cruises celebrated the New York premiere of “Born to Dance”, the latest offering from its  partnership with Stephen Schwartz, Oscar, Grammy and Tony Award-winning composer of “Wicked,” “Godspell,” and “Pippin.” Joining Schwartz aboard Regal Princess for the premiere was director/creator Daniel C. Levine of “Les Miserables,” and “Mamma Mia!” fame.

Born to Dance celebrates the aspirations, hurdles and triumphs of professional dancers, as told through tributes to Broadway’s greatest choreography in a feel-good story.  

“Born to Dance” is created and directed by Levine and is now showing aboard Golden Princess, Grand Princess, Star Princess, and Regal Princess.
