17 FEB 2017: Sunwing has been named Canadian Partner of the Year by MSC Cruises for the third consecutive year. Awards are given to the cruise line’s top performing North American travel partners for the year based on overall business growth in revenue and guests, continuous partnership support, and innovative marketing efforts that drive increased consumer awareness.

Reg Mendes, vice president of USA & Cruise Division at Sunwing Vacations said, “Delivering vacation experiences that delight our customers is of paramount importance to us and with MSC Cruises we believe that we have found the perfect partner to do just that. We’ve enjoyed a very successful collaboration with MSC Cruises for the past seven years, so we are very excited to be receiving this award for the third time.”

Ian Patterson, director of Business Development in Canada for MSC Cruises said, “We’re very proud of our long-standing relationship with Sunwing, as the past seven years have been a great experience in finding new and innovative ways to deliver an exceptional product to Canadian cruisers. With our already announced fleet expansion, we look forward to growing the relationship even more over the coming years.”

For the coming winter season Sunwing will offer convenient fly/cruise packages on board MSC Cruises from up to six different Canadian gateways. Vacationers can choose from three of the cruise line’s  ships—all reflecting a blend of European charm and modern elegance.

New to the fleet this year is MSC Seaside, offering a luxurious cruise experience once it launches in Miami in December. This brand-new ship boasts state-of-the-art technology and one of the largest and most interactive waterparks available, together with an elevated experience at the private MSC Yacht Club. Also departing from Florida is the popular MSC Divina, renowned for its plentiful kid-friendly activities and programmes like The Lego Experience, along with cuisine from around the globe like Eataly Italian Steakhouse and Mediterranean Fusion from the Galaxy Disco.

Customers can also choose to soak up some inimitable Cuban culture on their Caribbean cruise, by sailing from Havana on board MSC Opera which offers contemporary staterooms and suites, upgraded kids areas with Lego activities, a splash pad, and a shopping complex.

All MSC packages include return flights on Sunwing Airlines with its buy on board selection of light meals and snacks with choices inspired by Food Network Canada Celebrity Chef, Lynn Crawford. Passengers also benefit from a generous complimentary 23kg checked luggage allowance.
